Been busy! Working on the game that is ;)

Hey all,

I have some great things to share!

Alright, so I haven't made a blog in three days, sue me. I've been busy working on maps for Russia, looking around on websites for music composers, checking out other engines, checking out other tilesets, advertising, trying to balance life with LoJ, (LoJ's taking over my life xD).

So, I'll start with looking for composers. I recently found a website called http://www.notessimo.net, it's awesome, check it out. It's an online music composer currently in beta- it's kinda like a game, but it's neat. So, I was trying to make a song, thinking I could just learn this program and start making new- custom music for LoJ, but turns out- it's really something you have to devote yourself to completely, it's not like video making where I can do that as a side deal. By the way, I'm looking for a composer because right now we are currently using the music of a different game on the playstation called "Alundra," The file size of our .exe is outrageously large and we'd be able to drastically reduce the size by getting custom .mid music. It's a short sacrifice for a wonderful outcome. I've found some composers that I really like on notessimo forums and I'm doing my best to contact them. Wish me luck!

I was also considering re-tiling this game with zelda tiles, but I figured that would just be lame- even if the zelda tiles were custom.

So as always, I will see you soon, I'll try not to wait so long to make another blog xD

Work on an Island in Russia

What's going on: It's been about a month of developing, and what I have so far is quite good.

Now that you are all caught up by my novel-size "what's going on", I'll jump straight into today.

Today, I added quite a bit to Russia, I won't give out the exact location yet, but if you have google earth, I can give you what to search for: Tsar Bomba; sound familiar? If you have a highschool education it should.

So far I've added about 10 maps to Russia, I'll have to count them when it's not 3:42 am, I'm pretty sure it's more. This won't be the only location in Russia, seeing as the game will have a few main stories in which you look for quite a few different items, not just the tablet of destinies.

I'm going to try to not give too many spoilers, but I want to give enough to where it's worth it to read this. I've begun work on the next dungeon, and they're really turning out great, I drew the whole first section of the dungeon before I started work on it, so be assured that it's not all coming out my... hat.... yeah... hat.

I'll be posting pics soon! So be ready...
